Twenty is Plenty

Both Tim & Gerry are pleased that the new Liberal Democrat administration on Bath & North East Somerset Council have agreed to carry out our promise to the people of Twerton and bring in 20 mph zones.

All residential roads in the Twerton area will be 20mph zones this year making our roads safer for local children and families.

Most of our roads in Twerton are narrow and full of parked cars so any excess speed is even more dangerous to Children and young families.

These proposals should be fully implemented during the summer months of this year.

Redland Park

We carried out a very successful litter pick in Redland Park on Saturday 23rd February and removed many bags of rubbish.

It is a shame that people throw down rubbish in the first place and we must continue to educate our young children to avoid dropping litter.

Many thanks to the youngsters who turned out to help on Saturday and we will repeat this again in a few weeks time.

We have reported the large Lurcher type dog tha has caused problems in the area and have requested tha The Police take action under the dangerous dogs act.
