Following conversations with residents and several emails concerning issues on a section of Haycombe Drive that was constantly subject to severe flooding whenever we had heavy rain, Councillors Sarah Moore and Tim Ball met with Council Officers to discuss options to find a suitable resolution.
Councillors Sarah Moore and Tim Ball are pleased to confirm that the gullies on either side of the road have now been considerably widened and new large drain covers put in place.
We hope that this will now resolve the issue, but will be carefully monitoring the area.
