HMO granted planning permission Windrush Close

Despite residents objections to this planning application and my request for the matter to be determined at Development Control Committee, a delegated decision to grant planing permission has been granted at 2 Windrush Close on 25th September.

The request to determine the application at the Development Control Committee was dismissed by the Chair.

This property now has permission to be converted into a 5 bedroomed HMO.

A copy of the decision is in the Link below.

Windrush Close

Footpaths

We have made many requests for the green Algae that is on many of the paths to be cleaned up and despite promises from both Curo and the council not much of it has been cleared.

Trees

We have also made requests for some if the trees at the front of Windrush Close to be trimmed back and have their canopies raised.

We will keep on to both the council and Curo until these matters are resolved.

Windrush Close

We have asked the council to remove the old mattress and rubbish dumped behind 17 Windrush Close.

We have also reminded both the council and Curo that they need to attend to the rubbish and Moss on the pavements in this area.

Windrush Close

After a recent walk around in Windrush Close we were concerned to find that the footpaths have become very worn and in places were covered in a green moss.

We have asked Curo and the Council to inspect the footpaths to take the necessary action to remove the moss that is slippery when wet.

We have also asked that any repairs including resurfacing of the paths takes place as soon as possible.

Windrush Close, (Tree Problems)

We have asked for the tree canopies to be raised on the trees near Windrush Close off of Poolemead Road to be raised.

The branches of these trees currently hit people in the face as they are quite low.

Curo has been asked to deal with this problem as we believe that they are the ones responsible.
