Community recycling facilities
The Picture shows a very good reason why community facilities in some areas break down.
Why is it that Bath & North East Somerset Council are not providing cardboard recycling at many of the recycling banks in community areas dominated by flats.
People will always dump rubbish and leave cardboard in areas where they expect a collection to be made. We are asking the council to ensure that they remove all rubbish and recycling materials from recycling banks as it builds up.
Residents in the Walwyn Close area in Twerton where this picture was taken have told us that they have contacted the council on several occasions to ask for the rubbish and recycling materials to be removed but have not had a positive response in fact quite the opposite.
