It is important that people watch out for hypodermic needles in the Twerton as the reports that I have had about them being discarded proved to be correct when one was found close to my home this morning.
As we all know children will pick up anything and play with it so parents need to be extra vigilant to ensure they do not get into the wrong hands.
The Council will collect discarded hypodermic needles from council owned land. If you come across a hypodermic needle and it needs safely removing then please contact Council Connect on 394041.
