Marjorie Whimster House

Aster Housing association have now secured the additional funding required to deliver the new homes on the Marjorie Whimster House site, and have signed a build contract with J.B. Leadbitter & Co who have taken possession of the site this week.
It’s unlikely that you’ll see a great deal of activity over the coming weeks due to the Christmas break, but work will start in earnest in the New Year. Aster Housing association are hopeful of having a completed scheme sometime before the end of March 2011.
