We have asked that the builders working on the redevelopment ensure that they protect the area that they are working in thus making the public area that is still open safe for the public in the area.Llovel have agreed to ensure that some of the loose kerbs stones are secured into place and have also agreed to putting up some safety signs when working on the Highway.
Much of the damage to the kerbs on Newton Road is not down to the builders but other people in the area parking where they should not park.
