Bath & North East Somerset Council in 2005 approved moving towards a Zero Waste strategy by 2020 . The Council have we have updated the main statistics and key achievements part of the report regularly. However, the original action plan was for 5 years to 2010.
The council have have carried out a more thorough review this time, to bring it up to date with recent and forthcoming legislation.
It also now includes a specific consultation section on key corporate and proposed waste policies, together with a summary of key actions and projects for 2011/12, which the council are seeking people’s views on.
