We are pleased that the Museums of Bath and North East Somerset are hosting a free Heritage Feast on 29 December. The Feast, which will be held at the Southside Youth Centre in Twerton from 12-3pm, is a great opportunity for the whole family to learn more about our heritage and local museums.
The theme of the Heritage Feast is food through the ages and visitors will have the chance to try food from the Romans, Georgians and World War II, learn how the Georgians made bread and take part in the ‘honey cake’ quiz. People will also have the chance to investigate museum collections, dress-up in World War II Land Girl and Home Guard costumes and meet a Roman soldier.
All food and activities are free. please visit HeritageFeasts for more information.
