unauthorised structure near to carrs wood at Walwyn Close

We have asked that the unauthorised structure near to carrs wood at Walwyn Close is removed as soon as possible. The structure is unstable and a potential fire hazard. We are aware that it was probably put together as a bit of fun but it is dangerous and a hazard.

Bath and North East Somerset Polling Station review

Bath and North East Somerset Council are currently reviewing the current locations of the polling stations across the area. More details of this review can be found here.

Also as part of this review, we have asked for the ward name of Twerton to be changed to reflect the area it now covers and therefore have asked for the new name to be Twerton and Whiteway ward.  This is something that several residents asked us to do a couple of years ago.  This change can only happen as part of this type of full legal review and will only happy if local residents are also in agreement.

We are therefore asking residents to submit their comments of support to the local Council, representations from the ward community can be submitted as part of the review, either by email at elections@bathnes.gov.uk or by writing to Electoral Services, Bath & North East Somerset Council, Guildhall, High Street, Bath, BA1 5AW.

The deadline for comments is Monday, 20th November 2023.
