Work on Former Elderly Persons Home Underway.

Work has at last started on the former Marjorie Whimpster Elderly Person Home to demolish the building and to build a mixture of homes and flats to rent.
The work is being undertaken by Leadbitter contractors on behalf of Aster Housing association. The work is anticipated to to take most of this year and be completed in early 2011.
