It is really good to see the new weight restriction signs are now in place to help reduce the large vehicles travelling up Pennyquick Hill, Whiteway Road and Rush Hill.
We again contacted the Highways team last week concerning the spilt concrete that is causing a problem on the steepest part of Pennyquick Hill where we see lorries getting stuck on a regular basis.
We have also asked for officers to look at ways the restriction can be formally enforced.
Councillor Tim Ball said "these restrictions have been requested by residents across Twerton, Whiteway, Southdown and Odd Down and will hopefully help to reduce the volume of larger HGVs travelling along this route".
