Morrisons update

An update to yesterday's blog entry about Morrisons in Twerton High Street.

It seems that several People reading yesterday's blog entry though that Morrisons was closing its doors today this is not the case the ownership transfers to the new company today and they will have a refit in October when the rebranding takes place to MyLocal store.

I hope that this clarifies the issue as we are working on only the information that we receive.

Morrisons Local open

I was pleased to be able to open the new Morrisons store in Twerton on Monday.

The new store is already bringing new trade back to the high street with competitive prices.

I would hope that this would continue and that other traders would benefit from the increased footfall in the village.

Morrions heads for Twerton High Street

The News that many Twerton residents have been waiting for is that Morrisons are on their way to Twerton High Street and will be occupying the former blockbuster store.

Morrisons are also proposing to put in a new cash point long asked for by your local councillors and residents alike.
