Allocation of community grants

We are both finalising the allocation of grants made available from the ward councillor initiative fund.

It has been difficult prioritising the many calls for small amounts of money that can make a difference to the community and its residents. We will be announcing during the next week the extra amounts of work that we are able to deliver and will publish them on this blog first.

I have been pleased in the past week to make further amounts of money available to St Michael's Junior school to help purchase equipment to help with special needs pupils.

New Community Funding avaialable

We are again this year looking at funding for small projects in Twerton that will help the Twerton Community due to grants being available through Bath & North East Somerset Council.

We have a small budget that may help community groups run projects in the Twerton area that benefit the residents of Twerton.

If you have a project that you feel that we may be able to consider then please let us know?

Some groups have already contacted us and we are already considering 5 bids so please hurry as we will be making our decisions as to what we are able to fund at the end of November.

please contact us as soon as possible.
