Freeview Road ( blocked drains )

We have asked both Curo and the council to explain why a blocked drain on the footpath on Freeview by number 48 has now been concreted over.

Earlier this year we published pictures on this blog showing the problems with water overflowing on this footpath and excess water cascading down some steps.

It should be interesting to receive their replies.

Linley close garages update

Curo have come back very quickly telling us that they will clear the garage area and the road leading to the garages shortly.

We would like to thank Curo for  their prompt action but would still question how these garages were allowed to get so bad in the first place.

Linley Close Garages

We have asked Curo to clear this area up as soon as possible. As you can clearly see the area falls below even the minimum standards that you would expect and area to be in.

We have asked Curo to keep this area tidy before and are disapointed that this has not been kept uo together.

We area also disappointed that the recycling area has still not been sorted despite promises over six months ago.

Twerton Fun Day

A fun day is being held at Pennyquick playing fields tomorrow 5th April from 2pm till 4pm.

This should be a fun afternoon and all are welcome. the event is being put on by TIME BANK and the Charity Shop.

Please go along and support these local groups.

Newton Road

We are pleased that the New wooden  Bollards are in place on Newton Road to help prevent parking on the grass area in front of the houses.

It is a shame that we have had to spend money to help protect this area that was being destroyed by people parking on the grass.

The Police have now been asked to ensure that any vehicles that are now found parked between any of the bollards are prosecuted.
