Don't forget the Bath Half Marathon is on this Sunday Morning and the Lower Bristol Road will be closed to cars for the morning and into the afternoon.
If you have any journeys to make that takes you towards the City Centre it us wise to make them before 8am or after 3pm when the roads should return to normal.
Any how if you have an hour to spare on Sunday why not pop down to the Lower Bristol road and cheer the runners on.

Lidl update
As they say every picture tells a story well these two certainly do.
Top left shows a Lidl Sore with shelves stocked and ready to open as planned and we know that the community can't wait to get into the store.
In contrast picture to the right BT still working on a job that should have been finished months ago.
We leave it to residents to make what they will of this and if they wish to contact BT follow this link and let them know what you think . http://bt.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/10789/~/how-do-i-contact-bt-to-make-a-complaint%3F

Cleeve Green
Do we need to introduce parking restrictions at Cleeve Green opposite the Cleeve Court elderly persons home, that is a question that we have been asking ourselves for some time now.
The problem that has been taking place is that people working in the home and visitors to home have been parking on the grass churning up the area and making the area look very untidy.
We have tried working around the issue by having some bollards installed only to find people parking in between them.
We have after quite a lot of deliberations asked for a formal consultation to take place on the introduction of restricted parking regulations on the Cleeve green side of the road that runs from outside of 1 Cleeve green to 36 Cleeve Green.
We would hope that we could still draw back from this but that depends on the response from those people currently parking in the grass verge.

Fly tipping Shaws Way
We have asked the council to remove the old mattress that has been dumped by the side of 32 Shaws Way.
If you know who dumped this at this location would you please let us know so they can be recharged for its removal.
We are trying to get this area cleaned up and this irresponsible person is not helping that.

Valentines days visits
On 14th febuary we spent most of the day very busy in Twerton spending time clearing up Bath City Farm in the morning with other residents, many bags of rubbish were removed leaving the area clean and tidy.
At lunch time we visited Bakers in Twerton High Street who were celebrating 80 years trading in Bath altogether quite a accomplishment.
We would like to express our thanks to both the volunteers at the City Farm and to Richard Baker for his engagement with the community and the warm welcome that he gave us.

Highland Road
We have asked the council to clear up the mess that we found in Highland Road when we visited only a few days ago.
We have found problems at this location nearly every time that we visit this area and have asked that the council monitor the area to ensure the build up of litter does not happen.
We will also be asking that new litter bins are installed in this area in the new financial year in other words after April this year when new budgets are available.
