Requests for Improvements at Redland Park Carrs Woodland

We have requested several measures to enhance the safety and cleanliness of Redland Park Carrs Woodland:

·      Repair and Height Increase of Fencing:

The fencing at Redland Park that runs alongside Carrs Woodland should be repaired and

increased in height. This will help prevent the dumping of rubbish and fly-tipping into the

woodland.

·      Removal of Existing Fly-Tipping:

Immediate removal of the current fly-tipping in the area has

been requested to restore the cleanliness and appeal of the woodland.

·      Installation of Barriers:

We have also asked for barriers to be installed at several key locations

to prevent motorcycles from accessing local fields. This will help mitigate the disruption and

inconvenience caused to many residents.

Linley Close - Flytipping

This is a regular occurrence in the garage area behind the Centurian and is totally unacceptable.  Residents are fed up that just a few people still think they can just dump their rubbish and expect it to be taken away for them.

I have asked that this is removed and cleaned up as soon as possible and solutions are sought to prevent this from constantly re-occurring.

Unfortunately, the level of rubbish and fly tipping is not getting any better.

We have asked for the sofa that has been dumped to be removed as soon as possible.

More rubbish around the area
We have also asked Curo to get the overgown bushes and the weeds cleared up across the area.

Councillor Tim Ball is also contacting Curo to arrange a more regular programme of works is put in place to get this area monitored and rubbish/weeds removed promptly.

If you are aware of fly tipping or rubbish in your area that is not being cleared, please do get in touch.

Hanna Close

We have received confirmation from Curo that they are going to clear up the mess in the Car Park area at Hanna Close.

They have confirmed that they will be tidying the bushes up making sure that the area is left in a clean and tidy condition.

We have had discussions with Curo regarding one particular garage user who seems to be making the most amount of mess.

We have both been down to this area on many an occasion and cleared it up only to return the following day to see it in the same state as it was before got there.

We are asking Curo to take action to resolve the problem of this particular user.

Walyn Close Flats fly tipping

I have asked that the mess is cleared away from the recycling area outside of Walwyn Close flats, this rather annoying as it is there on a regular basis.

It is also not very good to look at for the residents if you know who is causing the mess please let us know.

I have also asked the council to work closely with Curo to find a permanent solution to this issue that can not be allowed to continue.
